I find myself very tired this evening as plans and
preparations for our upcoming adventure have kept me extremely busy. This
however will not deter me from laying out the blueprints for our East
Coast/Maritime adventure. As much as I do not like to plan, and typically fly
by the set of my pants, when family is involved there must be some structure.
So some plans were put in place but then, at a certain point, I had to stop and
let the rest take it`s course because that is where the true adventure is found.
Wayne and I have two different journeys ahead of us. On the
9th of August, I will be travelling by van and utility trailer, road tripping
and camping out of our vehicle along the way. The starting point for my trip
will be Peterborough, Ontario, Canada and I will be driving with my family, six
in total (Wife, 3 kids, and 75 year old grandmother). Our journey will take us
through the Provinces of Quebec, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Nova
Scotia up into Cape Breton National Park.
As for Wayne, he will be flying out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada on August 12th straight to Nova Scotia where he will start off visiting family. Wayne and Drea will then rent a vehicle and travel around Nova Scotia camping out of their vehicle and exploring the Province.
We will be on separate journeys meeting up in the Northern
interiors of Cape Breton. This is where our adventure together begins. So the
outline has been drawn and the adventure soon to be, when we return the blanks
will be filled with great pictures, videos and memories as a new story will be
told.
Until next time, adventure awaits!
