Evolution of a Dynamic Duo

Making our debut appearance on Twitter and our other social media sites back in April, Wayne and myself had no idea what the outcome would be. We had always had a great time in the outdoors but also a burning desire to share our experiences. In order to do this we needed to step up our game, to get ourselves noticed in the outdoor world. This prompted us to create our website www.two4adventure.com Our intentions were to meet new people along the way, share information and ideas, plus attempt to motivate people to get outdoors. A homegrown duo with a passion for adventure, no gimmicks, just a couple of childhood friends creeping up on middle age still enjoying the outdoors and having fun sharing it. Beer, Gear and Adventure are things we love, keeping in mind that we don't head into the outdoors to get sloshed with a bunch of gear :) we believe that after a tough adventure with the gear you depend on, accomplishment can be celebrated with you favorite drink. Cheers!
Fast forward to the present, almost 6 months later. We have learned so much through our interactions, have been out on several adventures and above all else, met some amazing people both online and in person whom are like minded. Although we are still just starting out we are proud of how far we come in so little time. This has us excited about our future and continuing to do what we love and who knows what the next 6 month's will bring? I suppose that is just part of the adventure and the evolution of Two4adventure. To all that have been a part of our journey so far we thank you!

Until next time, adventures awaits!

Rocking 90`s Hardtails

With nothing more then two kickass 90's hardtail mountain bikes, some water, and a few trail snacks we head out on a dirty adventure. Destination...... Durham Forest, just outside of Uxbridge. Neither Wayne nor myself have ever been to these trails but we would find out quickly that with names like "burnt toast", "wall of pain", "stone soup" and "lunatics way" (you get the picture) we were in for a treat.

We mount our our bikes, a Scwhwinn Moab and Trek 6500 both from the 90's but done up very nicely with aftermarket parts. Next we would deck them out with various GoPro mounts and then the cameras (full list of what equipment we use will be detailed in an upcoming blog). It had been a few years since we had been trail riding on Mountain bikes but it didn't take long to feel like a kid again, carving and winding through the forest. Some trails offered double wide access where others were single track into steep valleys via switchbacks covered in rock and roots. For Wayne and I this is pure bliss, two middle aged guys feeling like kids again. This is why we set out on these adventures, it could be to try something new or revisit something we have already done. Whatever the case may be, we do it because we love the outdoors, always have. We are willing to try anything once and love to keep the passion for outdoor adventure alive. Our videos are created in hopes to motivate others to do the same, no matter how old you are, economical status, or any other reason that holds you back, just get out there and breath in what the great outdoors has to offer. You will not be disappointed (end of rant).

We ended this adventure having taken in some Autumn beauty and coating ourselves with some cool, wet mud. A great day to say the least and always good company when Wayne and I get together. How do you cap off such a great Fall day? With a pint of beer of course. A stop at "The Bear", a pub located in Pickering Ontario, fit the bill. An order of deep fried pickles, brisket with fries, complimented by a pint of MooseHead. Stick a fork in it! That day was done. On to the next :)

Until next time, adventure awaits!
